Strong winds and low relative humidity covered the northern and eastern Plains and western Midwest regions Wednesday, leading to a red flag warning for many areas. Scattered showers and thundershowers spread from the southeast plains to the west and north Delta and the southwest Midwest Wednesday. Dry elsewhere in the key growing areas.
